MANDATORY COACHES/RULES CLINIC:
WHEN: Wednesday, September 10th
WHERE: Ranchos Elementary School Soccer Fields (Where we play scheduled games)
TIME: FOR U-6 and U-8 Coaches: 5:45 PM - 6::30 PM: (5:45-6:00 rules, 6:00-6:30 Coaching)
FOR U-10, U-12, and U-14 Coaches: 6:30-7:15: 6:30-7:15 (6:30-6:45 rules, 6:45-7:15 Coaching)

Registration Fees: $50 Check or Money Order, Cash will not be accepted! (each additional family member $45)
What to Bring: Copy of Birth Certificate & Small Photo
Children's 4th birthday must be before August 1, 2008

Tuesday, August 19th, 5:30-6:30pm, Taos Youth & Family Center
Thusrday, August 21st from 5:30-6:30, Taos Youth & Family Center
Saturday, August 23rd from 11:30-1:00, Taos Youth & Family Center
Online Registration Available through August 27th
Online Registration closes August 27
There will be a late registration fee of $10.00 after August 23

Practice Sign-Up: Due to field limitations, practice field sign-up is mandatory! Sign-ups are on a first come first served basis. Please contact Deanna Reyes @ 737.9574 or by email @ dreyes72@yahoo.com to reserve your practice time and field location.

KATLIN OKAMOTO: SOCCER WITHOUT BORDERS
Katlin Okamoto has started the Soccer without Borders Girls Program. Katlin, who is a recent graduate of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado is an accomplished soccer player and student. She was the captain of the Colorado College Women’s team and helped guide them to the NCAA tournament last year for the first time in more then a decade. She also excelled off the field where she was an honor roll student majoring in Biology and Asian Studies. Katlin, a native of Taos, New Mexico, joins the Soccer Without Borders team as the Director of Girls Programs and is currently in the process of designing a progam that will promote girls involvement in soccer as well as encouraging self-esteem, leadership and healthy choices amongst participants. “I am looking forward to promoting girls involvement in sports in a way that respects cultural practices and is sustainable for the future." says Okamoto. More information about the Girls Program will be provided soon.
